Installing or using the Bot means you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
LCARS-Prime
Public-facing policies, support guidance, and service information for the LCARS-Prime Discord Bot.
Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of LCARS-Prime, the Discord application referred to here as the Bot or Service.
Server owners and administrators decide whether to install the Bot and how to configure it.
Users may not abuse, overload, exploit, or use the Bot to violate Discord rules or law.
Questions, reports, and privacy requests can be submitted through the Support page or official Discord.
1. Operator and acceptance
LCARS-Prime is created and operated by Stonedfury, referred to in these Terms as the “Operator,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” By installing, authorizing, accessing, or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you install or configure the Bot for a Discord server, you represent that you have permission to do so and to bind that server’s use of the Bot to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be permitted to use Discord under Discord’s own terms and must be legally able to agree to these Terms. The Bot is not directed to children below the minimum age required to use Discord in their country.
3. What the Bot provides
LCARS-Prime provides Star Trek Fleet Command reference tools, profiles, fleets, rosters, crews, recommendations, search features, server administration, moderation, welcome tools, role tools, embeds, creator/content alerts, and related Discord functions. Available features may differ by server and may change over time.
Game information and recommendations are informational only. They may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect and are not guaranteed to produce any particular game result.
4. Server administrators and moderation
Server owners and administrators decide whether to install the Bot, which features to enable, which rules to configure, and which moderation actions to take. The Operator does not control a server’s independent rules or routine moderation decisions.
Administrators are responsible for configuring the Bot lawfully, reviewing permissions and role hierarchy, protecting access to administrative controls, and informing their members about server-specific logging or moderation practices.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Bot to:
- violate law, Discord’s terms or policies, or the rights of another person;
- harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, impersonate, or unlawfully monitor others;
- distribute malware, malicious links, spam, or unlawful content;
- probe, bypass, disable, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Bot or its security;
- use automated requests in a way that creates unreasonable load or evades limits;
- obtain or disclose another person’s data without authorization; or
- misrepresent the Bot as an official Discord, Scopely, Paramount, CBS, or Star Trek service.
6. User-provided content and configuration
You retain any rights you have in content you intentionally submit. You grant the Operator a limited permission to process, store, format, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the requested Bot feature.
You are responsible for ensuring that content, URLs, templates, images, names, and server configurations you submit are lawful and that you have the right to use them.
7. Third-party platforms and sources
The Bot depends on Discord and may interact with Railway-hosted infrastructure and external services or public sources such as YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Reddit, X, Instagram, TikTok, RSS or podcast feeds, and STFC-related sources. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.
The Operator is not responsible for third-party outages, data, content, policy changes, API limits, account actions, or availability. A link or integration does not mean endorsement or affiliation.
8. Fan project and intellectual property notice
LCARS-Prime is an independent fan-created utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Discord Inc., Scopely, Paramount Global, CBS Studios, or the owners of Star Trek and Star Trek Fleet Command.
Star Trek, Star Trek Fleet Command, related names, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Discord and related marks belong to Discord Inc. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners.
9. Availability, changes, and suspension
The Bot may be modified, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Maintenance, security events, provider changes, or technical failures may interrupt service. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements, platform rules, nonpayment for any future paid feature, or material violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Bot at any time. A server owner or authorized administrator may remove the Bot from the server through Discord.
10. Privacy
Use of the Bot is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains the categories of data processed, purposes, sharing, retention, and request procedures.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Bot is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Operator disclaims warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or opportunities; server moderation outcomes; account actions; game losses; or third-party conduct arising from or related to use or inability to use the Bot.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly to the Operator for the Bot during the twelve months before the claim or US $25. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Bot, law, platform rules, or data practices change. The “Last updated” date will be revised. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms, except where additional notice or consent is required by law.
14. Contact
Questions, reports, and data requests may be submitted through the LCARS-Prime Support & Data Requests page. You may also use the official LCARS-Prime Discord community. The public operator name is Stonedfury.
